Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since the last devlog, and I’ve been itching to get back to this project. Since itch.io’s recent changes I’ve seen a surge in downloads and page views, so I figured... if not now, when?

Before we get into the details, a huge thank-you to everyone who has already supported the game with a donation! I truly appreciate it, and every single dollar will go straight back into development (to be honest, I finally have everything I wrote about on the main page years ago - plenty of headsets, full‑body tracking, and much more). Because the game hasn’t been updated in over four years, I'd like to show appreciation to the game's backers by including your nicknames in the in-game credits. Itch.io doesn’t show me who donated, so if you can prove you helped out, please reach out and I’ll make sure you’re included. But let's get back to the main topic.

What’s next?

During the break I wasn’t sitting idle. I worked on other projects, learned new tech, and gained plenty of experience. Now I’m ready to put that knowledge to work. Here’s the ~roadmap:

  1. Quest & Pico port of v0.4
First up is releasing the current 0.4 build on Oculus Quest and (most likely) Pico. VR hardware has moved on, and it makes sense to support what’s already in your hands.

  2. Jump to Unity 6
Next comes a major engine upgrade - from Unity 2019 to Unity 6. This big leap will unlock better tooling, performance and wider hardware support:

    • Android‑based VR headsets like Oculus Quest and Pico with mixed reality, and maybe future AndroidXR devices

    • PCVR

    • Mobile VR (Cardboard) - but only to a certain extent. I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to keep the full feature set

  3. Visual & community refresh
While the port is underway I’ll give the visuals and branding a facelift and launch an official Discord server so we can chat and you can tell me what you’d love to see next.

  4. Re‑visit old promises
Once everything is running in the new engine version I’ll review the goals from earlier devlogs, tidy them up, and set fresh milestones.

That’s all for now. I encourage you to jump into the comments, and see you soon!
